The ambiguous title 'bios' indicates the translation of the digital 'bit-colored' space (starting with a Basic-Input-Output-System of a computer) to the whole real universe and life in it ('bios'). It states "...just be glad to be here..."

Augmented reality showcase where invisible cubes hover inside a room and cast shadows on the walls. The user navigates via a conventional old-fashioned lamp in a very natural manner. After locating the individual objects through light and sound one could reveal the specific content of each cube. The contents presented in the prototype version of Lumen were extracts from videos by students of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, Department for Art and Design. The installation was developed within a team of nine students and shown at the Theater Augsburg in February 2007.

Outcome of a workshop titled "I am a Graphic Designer from Germany" at Grafist 9, 9th international Graphic Design Week. The posters could be placed in any combination and order to achieve a large area wallpaper. The composition leans on the strict patch work pattern of fields nerved by the network of common red roofed villages – a characteristic impression from a bird's eye view on the landscape. Some other associations were: consuming society, privacy and anonymity, kitsch, cleanliness, contrast, black red gold.
